This blog is the first in a series we call Inspiration blogs, the blogs are written by some of our amazing customers and we hope they can give you some inspiration.
If you want to read more about the concept or think you have something to bid on, you can read more about it via the button below.
In this Inspiration Blog you will meet Randa, perhaps better known as @curlsbyranda on Instagram.
In the blog here she will review her weekly hair mask routine and we hope you can get some inspiration on how you can get your curls cared for. Happy reading.
- First of all, I start by washing my hair with Co-wash and massage it well into the scalp, after which I wash it off thoroughly. - Regarding my Co-wash, my routine is approx. 3 hair wash with Co-wash, where in the fourth wash I usually use a sulfate free shampoo (low-poo) or ACV cleanser to remove all buildup.
- Once I have rinsed out all the Co-wash thoroughly, I make sure to divide my hair into several sections, that way it is easier for me to apply the hair mask in my hair.
- Then I take one section at a time and apply the hair mask using a brush so I make sure that the hairmask is thoroughly distributed and each strand of hair benefits from the product.
- Once all the sections of my hair have been given a round of hair mask, I start dividing each individual section from the past into two parts, after which I twist the tufts together to train the hair to curl naturally. NOTE! This step is especially important if your curls / hair are damaged!
- After all the tots are twisted, I take my showercap on followed by Hot Head. Hot Head is good for keeping warm, so the hair mask has the opportunity to penetrate well into the hair strands and at the same time speed up the treatment and the waiting time. This means that instead of wearing the hair mask for an hour or longer, I can settle for 10-30 min. - Less time spent, more time saved and at the same time a fabulous result! 🙂
- I often choose to let the hair mask sit for up to 30 min. before I rinse it out and then finish washing my hair with a conditioner.I can highly recommend Hot Head as it is time saving and easy to use.To get an even better heating effect, it is even possible to heat it up before use, using the microwave, if you have one of this kind.
Style as usual
After the hair treatment routine, wash and style the hair as usual.
