The History of John Masters Organics

It all started in 1994, when John Masters, a leading stylist based in New York, came up with a simple, but radical, idea. He was of the conviction that nature was and is the best resource for pure beauty. Desiring to create products that were gentler to the hair, John Masters pulled away from the upscale New York beauty salons, and so his passion for beauty, health and a holistic lifestyle also became his professional calling.

The foundations for the products became, and are, organic ingredients. John Masters began working on the best organic ingredients he could get, using them on private clients at home in his own Manhattan apartment. It quickly became a huge hit, and shortly thereafter he opened the world's first Clean Air salon in Soho, New York. The salon's concept of not using harmful chemicals in the hair was revolutionary and attracted many customers who would no longer use hair products that were harmful to themselves and our environment. 

Today, John Masters vision has evolved into a worldwide brand that is constantly transforming and innovating the organic and natural beauty industry.
