Flora & Curl was started in 2011 by a British woman named Rose. After using hard and smooth products for many years, Rose would return to her natural curls, but she lacked hair care products that were free of all the harsh ingredients we often find in these. It led to the natural and predominantly vegan product lines that today characterize Flora & Curl.

Clean Curl Promise

At Flora & Curl you work with a term they call Clean Curl Promise. In simple terms, they do not believe that our skin, hair or scalp should be exposed to harsh and harmful products. Therefore, their natural hair products are free of the following:

• Synthetic scents, colors and dyes
• Sulfates
• Drying alcohol
• phthalates
• Mineral oils
• Parabens
• Coal tar and talc.

In addition, all their ingredients meet the European Union's cosmetic safety directive, which is the most stringent cosmetic standard in the world. The choice to exclude ingredients such as silicone, sulfates and parabens also means that Flora & Curl's products are Curly Girl Methodwhich simply means that you must take good care of your curls, among other things by avoiding harmful and unnecessary chemicals in your hair products. With Flora & Curl you do not get a wash conditioner, but a low-poo shampoo, which means it is a sulfate-free shampoo.
