The tale of Bounce Curl begins in the chemistry room
The Bounce Curl was founded by Merian, who had felt for many years lacking hair products for curls. She had a clear vision of allowing everyone to embrace their natural hair. She herself has a Bachelor of Science and thus chemical experience, which quickly made the idea sprout. The solid foundation and extensive experience in chemistry were valuable tools that she took advantage of when she started creating the first innovative Bounce Curl products.
During the first 4 years of Bounce Curl, Merian also served as a consultant to other companies in the hair and skincare industry. However, it wasn't long before she made the choice to expand her own Bounce Curl product line to include shampoo and conditioner, among other things. She wanted to offer customers one product line with a wealth of hair products for curly and wavy hair, where they could be sure that both shampoo, conditioner, Bounce Curl light cream gel and other hair creams all worked well together and produced amazing results.

Merian has learned from a young age to take good care of her hair. All the hair products she used as a child were homemade and based on natural ingredients, which, she believes, is the secret of her long, curly, shiny and strong hair. From childhood, her grandmother has always blended various natural ingredients and created homemade hair products that have played an important role in Merian's hair care routines. Together, among other things, they scraped aloe vera out of the plant and cooked flax seeds to use as a cure and jelly.
The grandmother must therefore be said to play an important role in the development and foundation of the Bounce Curl. One of the main ingredients at that time and today is black seed oil. Specifically, nigella sativa, a black seed oil originating in the Middle East. The oil also goes by the name black cumin seed oil or black seed oil.
